I had a very fruitful day yesterday. Woke up at 8plus in the morning and made my way down to PS Mac to study. At Mac, I read the Bible for 1 hour and studied one chapter. Then we caught the movie "Three Kingdoms". It was a nice show! What a sad ending for Zhao ZiLong in the show.
In the show, his reason for fighting was for peace, and when there's peace, it'll be time for him to settle down. However, at a ripe old age, he didn't get to settle down at all and the world he was in was still in chaos despite fighting all his life. He left the woman that he loved and spent his whole life fighting. What did he fight for exactly? This is a question that sets me thinking. What are so many of us fighting for? Fighting for ourselves? At the end of the day, will we still be back at our starting point without fulfilling our dreams? I don't want to go one big round and come back at the starting line again. I want to move on and progress to where God wants me to be. I want to fight for God's purpose in my life. I guess this is what it means when Jesus' said, "Not my will but Yours be done."
Anyway, after the show, had dinner at Sakae and I left for CGM. After CGM, Wen, Jas, Merf, Xin, Eunice, MK and me went for supper AGAIN. Like last week, 5 of us squeezed in the backseat of Jas' car. We had a great time of fellowship, chatting and reminiscing the past until 1plus in the morning. Then Jas sent Wen home first before sending me home. By the time I reached home, it was already 3am. I was TIRED but still chatted online till 4am. If only there's no exam on Mon....
So I slept... all the way till this evening 4pm. Read the Bible for about an hour and I went to sleep again till 6pm. GOSH! Give me a slap if you see me! Hahaha.
